Deron Anthony is a stand-up comedian, writer, screenwriter, and professional overthinker originally from Akron, Ohio, who grew up in Brockton, Massachusetts, and now lives in Anaheim, California.

A graduate of The Los Angeles Film School, Deron earned his degree with High Honors in 2025. His creative work spans comedy, screenwriting, television, and science fiction. As a stand-up comedian, his material blends clever wordplay, absurd observations, dark humor, self-deprecation, bizarre headlines, conspiracy humor, stoner philosophy, and observational thoughts.

As a screenwriter, Deron has written two feature-length screenplays: Simp, a horror thriller, and Not Like Us, an urban horror/sci-fi story. He also created Glitch 1.0, an action sci-fi television pilot. In 2026, he was selected as a contestant in Stage 32's Search for New Blood Horror Screenplay Contest.
