Dr. AY Heath (Angel) is a writer, producer, director, and founder of Mystic Scribe Studios, an independent production company built for stories outside the ordinary.

Raised in a military family and later serving as a veteran herself, Angel spent more than two decades in corporate and executive leadership before making the transition into entertainment. Her career has included business operations, organizational development, strategic planning, financial management, project leadership, and the development and mentorship of teams and emerging leaders. She brings that experience directly into her work as a producer and studio founder. Her professional development includes extensive work in leadership training, mentoring, onboarding, organizational culture, and team development.

For Angel, the move into entertainment wasn't about starting over. It was about bringing a lifetime of experience into a new arena.

In 2024, she founded Mystic Scribe Studios, where she develops original work across film, television, publishing, podcasts, and digital media. She produced Project Firebreak, an ambitious independent production comprising seven narrative short films, bringing together writers, directors, actors, editors, composers, and production personnel and overseeing the larger production effort from development through post-production.

As a writer and creator, Angel is developing an expanding slate of original film and television projects, including the science-fiction series Pioneers and feature screenplays KISS and Heartbeat, while continuing to build Mystic Scribe Studios as a collaborative home for independent productions and emerging storytellers.
